Welcome to my little corner of cyber space, I'm so happy you stopped by, my name is Janette Newman. I am an Artist - Decorative Painter - Folk Art Teacher.
Since 2001 I have been travel teaching to students at Folk and Decorative Art Conventions and have had the pleasure of teaching at Brisbane, Auckland, Sydney, Tamworth, Bathurst, Mudgee, New Zealand etc., etc., etc. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love teaching new students and introducing them to the relaxing pleasure of art.
I worked as a sales representative for a long, long time, and as a secretary, and now as well as bringing you art," what's on" news, patterns and lessons, I also have paintings for sale, as well as Cards, and Pattern Packets, I also sell Matisse Paints and Mediums.
I have had many patterns published in the Decorative Painting Magazines and there are some more coming out very soon.
