I have just made two bonnets and my students have made some too, I adopted two convict ladies one is Elizabeth Howarth and the other is Mary Ann Howarth......Howarth having been my maiden name........I don't know why they were convicts but I must try to follow their names up and see if I can find out. Most of the convict ladies that I have heard of so far were only poor and maybe stole things to support their families. I am proud to be a part of this venture and if you wish also to be part of this venture, the pattern for the bonnet is on the website for you to print off, embroyder roses and hearts and then adopt a convict lady and then forward the bonnet to Christina, you can tell her you saw this mentioned on my web site if you like........maybe I will see you there at the exhibition.......lets help her obtain the numbers she needs to make this a success.

Janette will teach her patterns at your studio, numbers need to be at least 5 people in the class for it to be viable for her to travel to your studio.

I am a Matisse Consultant, and teach classes in Decorative Painting in Mudgee, at Lena Seeto's Gallery, Market St, Mudgee. I also travel teach at studios and conventions. I have been submitting and teaching at Folk Art Conventions around Australia and in New Zealand, for the last few years, I use Matisse paints and mediums and I do have them available to sell to you so you can paint my patterns in the correct colours.

If you wish to order any Matisse Products or Pattern Packets, e-mail me with your order and I will get back to you with the cost and the amount of postage that will be added to your order.

Payment can be made by depositing the amount of money in my account or by sending me a cheque or money order to P.O. Box 391, Gulgong. N.S.W. 2852, and then I will forward your order after receipt of the money.

With overseas orders of small amounts, I can do an equal exchange (swap) with you for products if this makes it easier for you.....maybe we can come to an agreement of a fair swap for these small orders of products, I have found exchange rates and fees on small orders under $20.00 are very great.
